I meet for the first time with my Thursday group and the gap between 2nd and 4th quarters becomes painfully apparent.

Down to U of I for the football game makes a chilly day for hanging out with family.

Day 6 last day, feeling kind of mopey in the morning, but we make it back to my house to unpack and have pizza before heading back to Chicago.

Day 5 we tough out the rain for a view of Mt. Rushmore then power through a day of driving so we have less to drive tomorrow.

Day 4 we catch the Bears game before heading on down to South Dakota to a hotel we can shower off all our filth.

Day 3 a full day of camping, we cant get the stove to work so we rely on fire wood and later go on a prairie dog hike.

Day 2 of road trip we make it all the way to North Dakota, set up camp and experience the most beautiful night sky ever.

Day 1 of road trip we stop at home to get supplies then go all the way to St. Paul to stay with Lexi.

Ben has an ethics meeting that turns out to just be a formality, we go to trivia later that night.
